About The Radio Club

The Radio Club was formed in October 2009 - not so long ago, then!  Members are invited to join: learn about membership here.

What do we do?

The Radio Club holds dear all the traditions of amateur radio.  Our activities cover three main areas

Practical
Meet Learn Design
Talk Show and tell Build
    Operate

Other activities will include trips to places of interest and to other local radio clubs.

Our approach to amateur radio is probably more straightforward than many others and that extends to our radio club, too.  I'm very tempted to apply the term wabi sabi to the way the club is organised and run.
